This was my second Rush tour, the first being roll the bones. My mother is a huge Rush fan and would bring me to all the shows. I was only 11 in 1994. I look back now as some of the best memories, and Im extremely grateful she brought me along. Never missed a Rush tour since.
Counterparts was the first tour I saw since Grace Under Pressure. In the intervening years, I hadn't stopped liking them, but I was busy trying to build a career, and their albums from Power Windows to Roll the Bones had gotten more dominated by keyboards and were lacking BALLS. (Where WAS Alex on Hold Your Fire? I swear I only listened to that album once; it just didn't grab me the way 2112 did many years before.) So they hired Kevin Caveman Shirley to engineer Counterparts, and it turned out great. True cojones back in that album.
wow…wish i could get this quality from a few of the time machine tours…dont like the cleveleand video…went to 6 shows ..all better than the cleveland…these guys are insanely good
Surprised to see that they're using sampled b vox (e.g. "Stick It Out", "Double Agent", "Show Don't Tell", etc). The band is killer, of course, but I always thought it was a point of pride for them to create all the sounds live.
First American show in America in Lansing, Michigan, In the mud…at The Northside Drive in, around 1975. Very grateful…for hanging with..Stick IT Out!!   Awesome
One of the best all time "Live" bands!! I have seen them 6 times starting in 83 up through this tour…Sadly the ex wife didn't let me go after that…hence why she is an ex…I love these guys! My first show was in Lakeland, Florida in 83 the New World Tour!!
I saw this tour in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Great concert and as usual. being a drum listener, seeing the previous tour (Roll the Bones)I was just a bit disappointed on Neil's snare and power of his kit that he had on The Roll The Bones tour. Love Rush though.
Rush is the closest thing to God!!! When I am in heaven I will listen to RUSH 24/7
QUE BUENO RUSH DESDE VENEZUELA
