I saw them a month later in Oakland. Last show in the USA ever…☹️
I heard rumors that the No Quarter solo on the soundtrack TSRTS was actually recorded in studio. That explains why is so much tighter, focused and climax building than the true live performances. For example, the one in this show is a pretty good one but much less focused. I know it is 73 vs 77 but still… any comments?
I was just thinking, it's too bad they didn't have cameras at this show like Seattle & I think Pontiac was supposedly recorded as well….
Where is Inglewood? That's a city?
This fucking show is unbelievable. The No Quarter leaves me at a loss for words.
So far this is the best live version of Ten Years Gone I’ve heard them do.
19:15 "oh Jimmy oh Jimmy" I loved it … well, I loved everything!
Ha! Spot The Loonie. Nice Monty Python referrence.
So glad Ten Years Gone is on here. Jimmy plays a great building solo.
Zep have never ever not play a great Kasmir. They are always spot on.
TEN YEARS BONHAM !!
Did Page miss his cue? Robert said Oh Jimmy twice. Sound is kind of
Meh but I like listening to whatever’s I can find 🙂
I bought this as an Amazing Konyphone bootleg LP called "Badge Holders Only Pt 1 & 2" back in 1978 and wore it out. I saw Zep in Baton Rouge just a few day before this show. Great show.
In my opinion, Millard's worst recording ever quality-wise.
LZ⚠️zawsze🙂✋📯💞
Page broke a string and spent 1st part of Song Remains sitting on the drum riser getting it fixed. Keith Moon sitting in w/Bonzo on drum solo. What a great night, got to catch the 6th and final show too. A friend had tickets and sold them to me for $10 because he wanted to take his girlfriend to Movieland Wax Museum instead.
I was fourteen years old and this was my first concert. Thanks to my brother John RIP!!!
No dazed and confused?
Killer song remains
Can't get much better
WOW
JPJ on Achilles is like all 4 of Charlton Heston's arabian horses in the circus maximus
Then there's Jimmy page. The axeminster in excelcis. This guy has tone to burn!!!!!!
Bonzo just being bonzo. An absolute tsunami of percussive brilliance. God almighty help us!!!!!!
Thank You To the late Mike Millard for capturing this all on tape .God Bless You . R.I.P
41 years ago today!
that echoplex.. Page invented video games. hahahaha
Moon and Bonham equals certain death. Both croaked within a decade of knowing each other. Between the two of them they suffered from severe depression that led to insane alcoholism. Not crack, not smack, not acid or the reefer, but good old whiskey, the number one killer. Why governments don’t use alcohol as a torture tactic for this day I have no clue!
This is a few weeks before the Seattle concerts along with BLUEBERRY HILL BOOT LEG
The drums on Achilles Last Stand is from another PLANET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!……Bonzo is god!
the best gig from Forum 77
So, who was that shouting expletives just before the intro to "Out On The Tiles?" Bonzo and who else? The drum tech?
Haven't heard the whole LA run yet, but it seems the 21st and this show seem to be the ones most fans think really standout. I guess I would give the blue ribbon to this show, maybe just for No Quarter.
A tough call, either way…
So rain comes in frozen?
thnxs for getting some led out used to have to goto bootleg stores for this
Wish I had been there, but was only 8. Lol
Greatest Band Ever !
Copyrights on STH, guessing it's bonus material on the DVD..Havn't watched it in a while
Stairway…..denied!
Copyrights.???? bootleg Copyrights.?????? RARE
It is Out ON The Tlles…and I wish they would have played the song in full, but they rarely did after 1971.
The slow blues in the Boogie-woogie jam session which John Paul Jones' Boogie-woogie blues piano solo reminds me of Ian Stewart.
muito bom ver que o Led Zeppelin, esta ai em 2017 na sua estrada com a sua obra, mesmo cem o seu baterista original, ver ganhado terreno com o seu rock rever metal. E nano e o velho Led Zeppelin ainda sacudido o mundo. obrigado……………………………………………………………………………………………
