Don’t we start there what’s it been like during quarantine for zach brown band you know it’s it’s it’s been a really good lesson because some of the things that start off as being like the scariest worst thing can turn out being some of the most beautiful things so you know

It’s it’s been a really good lesson in just being patient and there’s a lot of changes that happen in a lot of things but i i think it turned out exactly the way it was supposed to and you know we’ve been blessed to to be able to keep things you know together for

Whatever you know whatever that means but just head space and rest and you know feeling feeling good and writing songs and being able to be forced to everyone to slow down and think about things that matter you know i’ve gotten phone calls from people i haven’t talked to in a long time and

Made some myself and it’s it’s been a weird blessing in a lot of ways and zach i know how passionate you are about camp southern ground what’s that been like for you with the quarantine and with everything that’s been going on how has that been

Well we had to close camp down for the summer six years now that we haven’t had a summer camp for kids but we’ve been able to follow you know safety guidelines and um excited to see what’s going to come out of this this falls complete programs with the veterans and

Um and lots more to come here from camp southern ground well we’ve heard some incredible music tonight let’s talk about some of the new music that you’ve released during the quarantine zach the man who loves you the most and you and islands this music is great what now what’s the

Inspiration behind this where did it come from you know now we all have daughters every all of us here and just thinking about not being their man one day is a big is a big deal you know when when they’re yours and then one day you kind of feel like you might play

Second fiddle to someone else for a while and and you know you want them to have all those you know all those life moments and you know to be in love and to be you know and to have a good man and all those things but you gotta you know i think

For me it was important to just be able to say no matter what happens i i love you first i love you the most no matter what well what’s next for you guys do you have some new music coming what can we expect in the near future i

Think when we come back out we’re just going to play like speed metal and really hard rock for a while just because we’ve had a lot of uh you know angst and build up being off the road and then we’re probably gonna do a polka tour for a little while

No man we got some stuff like right down the middle and we got some you know creative stuff i mean just getting back to the heart of a song and just like you know what do you what do you have to say and like you know finding

Finding your voice for what it is now you know it’s uh it’s um you know you and islands and the man who loves you the most we never saw each other one time throughout that whole process well and how have you been spending time at home and what’s been going on you

Know around the house have you been getting those honeydews done and getting everything done around the house maybe some new projects yeah and you know i don’t think clay records with his pants on now so he’s gonna try to do that when we get back together again we’re gonna have to have a
