This show proves a few things. 1. They did not need three guitarists. Allen and Gary were playing together since their teens, they were tight. A third player was just icing on the cake. 2. They were not afraid to mix it up with some other six-string slingers, Billy Jones and Hughie Thomasson were no slouches. They were some bad ass pickers, and The Outlaws were another great band from Florida. 3. They were the only ass kicking hard rock band that could ever bring in three female backup singers and be even more ass kicking and hard rocking!
Plus, Ronnie, a true southern gentleman, shows his love for Duane Allman during Freebird.
There is two forms of music that’s in my soul . Metal and Southern Rock. Skynyrd was great songwriters with songs that the working man understand. Like a fine wine the older these classics get the better they sound!
From the time "auto-tune" didn't exist. This fucking band is so in tune, it's a difficult task, so many members in the band, but everyone is right on time, incredible rock'n'roll band…and they looked like real rock'n'rollers
