First ever sabbath tune I ever heard. Got the CD Past Lives from my dad when I was 12. He noticed I liked ozzy’s ”Bark at the moon” from the videogame vice city’s radio station V-Rock and told me this dude used to be the frontman of the greatest rock band in history ❤

So grew up 80s, listened to every instrument and every part of every song this album when I was 13-14-15 made me not just understand
rythem @ young age but respect dynamics and timing changes …still warm up playing toni/geez parts to this day..at church I might add.

I love so much about this clip: Jazz jazz jazz; no one can swing it AND pound it like Mr Ward. Ozzy starts making up lyrics. Clean and still heavy – not loaded with distortion.
