Azuca revolutionizes cannabis edibles with its unique TiME INFUSION® technology, which encapsulates individual cannabinoid molecules to make them water-friendly. Promising faster onset times and a more predictable experience for consumers, the process addresses common issues with traditional edibles.
Azuca’s offerings include a variety of THC and CBD-infused products, such as sweeteners, syrups, and whole-plant activators, designed to meet the needs of both consumers and manufacturers.
Azuca CEO and Co-Founder Kim Sanchez Rael shared her insights with the Cannabis & Tech staff about what the award means to her and her team as well as some updates and developments over the last year.
Cannabis & Tech Today: What does it mean for your company to win awards like the 2023 Inno?
Kim Sanchez Rael: It’s an honor to be recognized by a publication whose editorial team is as knowledgeable and experienced in the space as Cannabis & Tech Today. The award further underscores that we’re on the right path and is another reason to feel positive about our commitment to innovation and our pursuit to make the cannabis experience as accessible, consistent and enjoyable as possible.
Cannabis & Tech Today: How has the last year been for your business?
KSR: The past year has been a whirlwind for Azuca, but in the best way possible! We’ve had a ton of exciting updates and developments, ranging from new brand partners all over the country and across the globe, to a new foray into the hemp cannabinoid market (inclusive of federally compliant, hemp-derived delta-9 THC) through a strategic collaboration with Open Book Extracts. We’re looking forward to how this collaboration will enhance the industry, as we’re offering brands a fast track, streamlined pathway from concept to market.
