Through a partnership with Leafly, Uber Eats is now delivering cannabis to customers in Alberta, Canada.
Albertans who are 18 and older can place orders with licensed cannabis retailers in the Uber Eats app and have it delivered to their door by the store’s certified staff, according to an Uber Canada news release.

Uber Eats’ partnership with online marijuana platform Leafly helps “retailers offer safe, convenient options for people in Alberta” to purchase cannabis products and have them delivered, a move that’s expected to reduce impaired driving and improve road safety, Klaas Kineriem, general manager of grocery and retail for Uber Eats in Canada, said in a statement.
