I remember this song. Haven't heard it in at least forty years. The sad part is I'm alive to know how many died from drugs. Way to many. They had angel dust. Bad very bad. Embalming fluid in it.
First heard this on then underground stations WTOS FM 103.7 Wauwatosa and WZMF FM 98.3 Menominee Falls both Wisconsin. Then stations WOKY. 920 and WRIT 1340/102.9 both Milwaukee wouldn’t touch it due to obscene word GD. Last two stations were top-40 radio.
Just an FYI to all those who think this is a great song, it was written by Hoyt Axton, who also wrote songs like, Joy to the World, and Never Been to Spain as well. Hoyt is better known for his acting, but he was a highly intelligent great singer and musician as well.
Benditos 70 y su música me acompañaron en mis viajes psicodélicos, sonara irresponsab le, pero hasta la marijuana era "sana". PAZ Y AMOR POR SIEMPRE,, <!!
I Reckon it is true that the pusher did operate out of an office with a pad and pen but those who took him out are to blame for the countless deaths of those who depended on that man in that office who kept them off the corners early in the morning and late at night. Yes, those who pushed them out of business and revoked their licenses to practice will certainly be held accountable and rightfully so!
I'm so grateful this music was a part of my life growing up as a young man in the 60's & 70's. You youngsters out there missed the gig of a lifetime! Long live the age of Aquarius!

They/we/nobody should blame the pusher if the product is pure and the commerce is ethical. It's not against rational or ethical law and their legal system is a tangled, self-contradicting labyrinth even they don't believe in and violate at expediency as we now see in the Holy Land. Push Pure. Sell Pure. You barely need to push. We all live in a yellow Submarine. – The Beatles
I’m a fan of this type of music already so but went back to watch ‘Tropic Thunder’ for my own amusement and found this overlooked gem as Jack Black continues to be Jack Black
Saw Stephen wolf at the Whiskey a go go when I got out of the service. A very intimate setting to see a great band. Those clubs down in Hollywood in the late 60's, early 70's, what a great time. Great bands, great settings. An awesome time to be alive.
I say merry CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL OUT THERE !! LOL

My pusher wears a lab coat and has an MD. Careful what you pick up.
This is one of the greatest songs of all time. The guitar work is just a mass of emotions.
Time changes but the pusher stays the same.
I'm still listening and I'm 79 years young.
Das beste ❤
