  1. I saw the mighty Zep in 77 at The Forum in LA and when he said it's getting hard hard hard ,the crowd and myself went crazy and he said, "that too." It was classic Robert Plant. And that was the show that Keith Moon came out and played drums with Bonzo. And I got a black-and-white photograph of Jimmy Page with his double neck guitar with a Band-Aid on his hand were some moron throw a firecracker at him the night before . I was 16 years old couldn't drive . I had to buy my oldest brother a ticket so he would drive me and my best friend up there. It was a memory I'll never forget.

  7. He mentioned that his young daughter was at this show, so assume his wife Maureen was also present. I wonder what she thought of him saying "it's hard and there are people who can vouch for it being hard" during California and a couple of other similar asides. I suppose there was an "upside" (pun intended) to being thd wife of gorgeous Rob, but it can't have been easy especially when he didn't seem to hide any of his indiscretions.

  10. No doubt that Zepplin had some great songs and the zeppelin cultists are not gonna like these next comments. These guys sounded great from the studio when they had all kinds of time and money behind them to sound great and they weren’t stoned or screwed up. When each one of these guys was on he was on. Unfortunately in concert, the only reason they improvised all the time is because they just couldn’t play it straight very well. Plant is singing most of his vocals anywhere from an octave to 2 octaves below what you heard on the records. And he talks way way way too much during his concerts. once Zepp made a name for themselves, they knew they could do and say anything on stage, and the crowd would absolutely love it. they thought way too highly of themselves or they would’ve delivered incredible live shows.

  12. I remember being a young teenager in the 70s and my friends and I would all huddle around a crappy cassette player and listen to Zep boots that were just horrible quality and just being transfixed by them. It’s so great that this stuff has survived for us to watch whenever. It used to be only when you got lucky and TSRTS would come to the midnite movie
