The Drug Enforcement Administration filed a federal court brief defending its stance that the synthetic cannabinoid hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) is an illegal Schedule I substance—and not legal hemp.
The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation posted a new form that recreational marijuana retailers can use to apply for a license to begin selling medical cannabis, which is taxed at a much lower rate.
A study of women with endometriosis found that medical cannabis treatment “was associated with sustained improvements in pain, health-related quality of life, sleep, and anxiety”—”with benefits sustained to 24 months and a favourable adverse event profile.”
