Bipartisan members of Congress sent a letter pressing President Donald Trump and key Cabinet members for guidance on how marijuana rescheduling will affect consumers and businesses—including whether there are plans to cover medical cannabis under Medicare.

New Hampshire lawmakers overrode Gov. Kelly Ayotte’s (R) veto of a bill to allow medical cannabis companies to cultivate in greenhouses, which supporters say will make marijuana more affordable for patients.

A new study found that “supervised use of full-spectrum medical cannabis oil was associated with favorable patient-reported perceptions of quality of life and sleep.”

Robert A. Mikos of Vanderbilt University Law School argues in a new Marijuana Moment op-ed that Attorney General Todd Blanche’s citation of international drug treaties in his partial cannabis rescheduling order suggests the Trump administration may not follow through with broader reform beyond medical use.
